Talcott Financial Group Celebrates Office Opening in Hartford and Announces Plan to Add Jobs in Connecticut |
HARTFORD, Conn., Sept. 28, 2023 – Talcott Financial Group (“Talcott” and “the company”), an international life insurance group and the insurance industry’s trusted partner for comprehensive risk solutions, today announced the official opening of its Connecticut headquarters at the iconic Boat Building at One American Row in downtown Hartford. |
To celebrate the opening of its 52,000 square-foot office, Talcott held a ribbon cutting ceremony with Governor Ned Lamont, Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin, and Connecticut Insurance Department Commissioner Andrew N. Mais addressing attendees. |
In addition to relocating its office space to downtown Hartford, Talcott is pleased to announce it is receiving support from the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) through the JobsCT program. Contingent upon Talcott retaining 389 jobs in Connecticut and creating an additional 51 full-time jobs over the next seven years, the company will receive up to $1.1 million in tax rebates as part of the state’s job incentive program. |

Talcott occupies four floors in the Boat Building and has designed a space tailored for its employees. The light-filled, modern setup offers spacious conference rooms, collaboration areas and huddle spaces equipped with enhanced technology, kitchen cafés on every floor, and a 30-seat boardroom. Talcott partnered with Red Thread, VVA Project & Cost Managers, and CHK Architects to design and outfit the space. |
